Round table
At the 2015 Conference of the Society for Romanian Studies, the project team (Adrian Cioroianu, Corina Doboș, Mihai Burcea, Dumitru Lăcătușu), together with prof. Vladimir Tismăneanu (University of Maryland, USA) participated to the round table Joining an outlawed party: the risks and temptations of becoming communist in Romania before 1945.
The roundtable aimed to explore the risks implied by the membership to an illegal movement/party in interwar Romania, as well as the benefits and opportunities of personal advancement this kind of membership offered.
